DIY: How to Build a Wheelchair Accessible Hunting Blind

Maybe there's someone in your family, an old friend or an aging grandparent or neighbor that's either disabled or simply not physically able to get out in the woods and hunt this season. Many tend to give it up, assuming their hunting days are over. But there's always improv and ways to carry on.

The National Wild Turkey Federation offers downloadable plans to build an affordable, wheelchair-accessible hunting blind. The organization had the plans created specifically for its Wheelin' Sportsmen program, and the blinds can be built in a short period of time with the proper equipment and a few helping hands.
