Bear Archery announced in March that industry veteran Bob Mizek has joined the Bear Archery team as a Project Manager. Mizek comes to Bear from New Archery Products, where he led the development of numerous commercially successful broadhead models and accessories.

“We’re really excited to have Bob on our team,” commented Jack Bowman, president of Bear Archery. “He brings with him years of valuable industry experience that includes design engineering, manufacturing, and quality control. Additionally, his core values, enthusiasm, and dedications reflect the same standards we believe in.”

Mizek has been in the archery industry for over 25 years, beginning with starting his own company Hi-Tech Sports—a company that manufactured and sold stabilizers and other archery accessories. In 1993 he began a career with NAP where he held the roles of design engineer and Director of Product Development. Mizek’s past experiences should serve him well as he takes on his new role as a Project Manager, where he will be responsible for various projects where he will be collaborating with the engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
