Hearing a turkey gobble in the wild is an exhilarating sound. Heck, sometimes scouting is more fun than hunting.
The Life Of A Bowhunter In Turkey Season: Day 8

Don't get me wrong, I love bowhunting turkeys. In fact, they are one of my favorite animals to hunt with a bow. That said, I may just love scouting for them more. Few things boil my blood with excitement like the sound of a thundering longbeard screaming at the first rays of the morning. It's just a breathtaking sight.

This morning I was serenaded for close to an hour while Croton Creek Adventures owner Scott Sanderford and a pair of his guides discussed tomorrow's game plan.

Yep, tomorrow kicks off Grand View Outdoors' 2016 Turkey Camp and things are looking great. As those that follow my blog know, I just had to slip out of work a few days early and come test the waters and help my good buddy Scott set out out blinds and check cameras.

Tomorrow we will kick things off and I will be sure to keep you all posted! I hope all your turkey dreams are coming true.
