LANSING, Mich. (AP) The state has started selling applications for people who want to participate in next year's Pure Michigan Hunt, which allows access to all restricted access hunts.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced the sale Tuesday. Applications are on sale until Dec. 31 for the 2011 hunting seasons.
The Pure Michigan Hunt drawing lets three people participate in all restricted access hunts. That includes elk, bear, wild turkey and antlerless deer.
The state says winners also get the first pick in a managed waterfowl area reserved hunt.
Applications cost $4 and people may apply as many times as they wish.
