Ameristep’s (810-686-4035; www.ameristep.com) great-looking new Carnivore Blind ($400) weighs 22 pounds and is made of a poly-cotton outer shell that reduces noise and sheen. The dual window system offers 180-degree viewing and magnetic shooting windows. Using Realtree’s AP camo, this Spider Hub design has dimensions of 74x74x 67 inches and includes ground skirting, as well as carbon-enhanced shadow guard.

The Snake Eyes Venom 275 ($299) uses Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity and is one of the new blinds offered by Barronett Blinds (800-450-3343; www.barronettblinds.com). With 90x90x84-inch dimensions and billed as a 3.5-person blind, it may be the largest hub-style pop-up on the market, yet it weighs just 29 pounds. Waterproofing is achieved by its tightly woven 600D fabric and heat-sealed roof. It also has a black interior coating and ground skirting. A six-panel design allows for horizontal, vertical, or a combination of both window openings. It comes with removable zippered shoot-through mesh.

The GhostBlind Predator ($250) from GhostBlind Industries (740-374-6766; www.ghostblind.com) is a four-panel mirror blind. At 46 inches high and 102 inches wide, weighing 12 pounds, it’s made with flexible plastic backer panel and plastic reflective mirror fronts. For transport, the four hinged panels fold flat, with the mirrors folded to the inside. The outside camo pattern is literally whatever is in front of the panels.

Blind Ambition’s (888-317-7355; www.baleblinds.com) Bale Blind ($629) is the only one of its kind we’re aware of that’s fairly portable. Including the carry bag, it weighs 55 pounds and can be set in under 20 minutes. Designed to mimic round hay bales, this realistic blind has an aluminum frame, long-lasting straw blanket outer cover, a black fabric lining, and silent sliding windows.

Primos

Double Bull The Crusher ($400) is new from Primos (800-523-2395; www.primos.com). Based on the same design concept of Double Bull blinds, it’s also a hub-style blind featuring an outer shell that’s a non-reflective, “crushed” fabric sonic-welded to an absolute blackout interior. Offering 360-degree shooting, this 5-foot by 5-foot by 72-inch blind weighs 24 pounds and is camoed in great-looking Ground Swat.

The Matrix Escape Deluxe ($210) is another new Primos option. Weighing 17 pounds, it has 77x77x75-inch dimensions and offers a Matrix camo pattern over a 600 Denier polyurethane-backed polyester fabric. It has 12 large view windows and one large roof opening. One full set of shoot-through mesh windows are included.
