People who want to take part in North Dakota's 2010 tundra swan hunting license lottery can apply online starting Wednesday.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — People who want to take part in North Dakota's 2010 tundra swan hunting license lottery can apply online starting Wednesday.
The state Game and Fish Department says the applications can be made at its website, http://www.gf.nd.gov.
Paper applications will be available by next week from Game and Fish offices, county auditors and license vendors.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 18. A total of 2,200 licenses are available.
The statewide tundra swan hunting season is Oct. 2 to Jan. 2, 2011. North Dakota residents and nonresidents are eligible to apply.
