For 2012 High Country offers new color options on its entire line-up, and one brand-spanking-new bow in the X11 Pro. IBO speed on the X11 Pro is a sizzling 355 fps, achieved in part by High Country’s Quad Track modular dual cam system with split yokes to eliminate cam lean. A somewhat skinny 51⁄2 -inch brace height no doubt contributes to this bow’s impressive speed as well. Despite the aggressive cam, this bow pulls smoothly, building up gradually to an easy break-over. It has a very solid wall, and vibration is minimal considering the speed. The split limb X11 Pro weighs 4 pounds even, has 80 percent letoff, and comes in draw weights of 50, 60, and 70 pounds. Draw length is adjustable in half-inch increments (with modules) from 25 to 30 inches. Axle-to-axle it’s 331⁄2 inches, with finish options of Realtree AP, Flat Black, and custom colors on request at additional cost. Suggested retail price for the X11 XP is $799.
