An exciting new Louisville venue that drew 531 exhibitors and 2,988 dealers, distributors and buyers was just one of the storylines of the 2013 ATA Trade Show, held Jan. 7-9 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.

Nice touches to the 2013 Show included BowTech’s third straight year of introducing its new flagship bow (the Experience) to a strong crowd at the BowTech booth on the first morning, as well as the first annual V.I.P. (Very Innovative Products) ATA Runway Show at the Robinson Outdoor Products booth—a fashion runway featuring outdoor celebs modeling hunting gear and product on a dedicated red carpet stage. Still another nice touch was a centralized, easy-access New Products area located in the virtual center of the show floor.

The next ATA Trade Show will be held in Nashville, TN, Jan. 6-8, 2014.

Joni Viles of women’s wear specialist Prois was happy to show off the latest styles that include the Pro-Edition Generation-X Jacket and Pants.

Michael Swan of Robinson Outdoor Products held up just one example of new ScentBlocker Trinity technology—which traps and holds human odor and can be regenerated quickly and easily.

Garnering plenty of interest from ATA attendees was the Wildgame Innovations Chopper, a unique collaboration with the Orange County Choppers team that Archery Business profiled in depth in our November/December 2012 issue.

Brad Yeomans of Sitka showed off the neat features of the new Early Season Whitetail Pants that feature four-way stretch fabric, large cargo pockets, and handy boot gaskets.

The line of Victory Archery arrows continues to expand and improve; popular small-diameter, thick-walled VAP arrows now feature aluminum Penetrator broadhead adaptors that protect the arrow tip for max impact, strength, and durability.
