The proposals include 2014 regulations for white-tailed deer, wild turkey, black bear and boar, 2015-2016 general hunting and trapping regulations and 2015 fishing regulations and amphibian and reptile regulations.

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources says meetings will be held March 17 in Fairmont, Princeton, Martinsburg, Milton, Spencer and Flatwoods. Meetings also will be held March 18 in Glen Dale, Moorefield, Elkins, Beckley, Logan and Parkersburg.

April 4 is the deadline to submit written comments to the DNR on the proposed regulations.
