The 12th Annual Baldy Awards ceremony and annual hair cutting will take place in Columbus, Ohio, at 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, at the 2010 ATA Archery Trade Show. This year’s volunteers include: Eric and Curt Price, The Lumenok Company; Tim Mangu
The 12th Annual Baldy Awards ceremony and annual hair cutting will take place in Columbus, Ohio, at 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, at the 2010 ATA Archery Trade Show. This year’s volunteers include: Eric and Curt Price, The Lumenok Company; Tim Mangum, Muzzy Corporation; and David Blanton, of Realtree.
The foursome will be facing a weighty challenge; last year more than $90,000 was raised at the well-attended ceremony, as always to benefit cutting-edge cancer research. Over the past 11 years the “Baldies” have raised a whopping $730,000.
This year’s event—according to organizers Doc Leonard, Doc Saltzman and Rob Evans—will feature a cash bar, as well as some “special surprises.” The threesome would like to thank all the many ceremony volunteers past and present, and the entire board of the ATA, for making this special event an ATA tradition.
